Senior Health Center
The Senior Health Center, under the medical direction of a board-certified family practice and geriatric medicine physician, provides primary and continuing comprehensive medical and nursing services.
These services are provided to Prince George's County residents 55 years and older who are in need of personalized healthcare. Services are provided to persons with disabilities as well to persons of low and moderate levels of income.
The Center is funded by a Development of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant and managed by Gladys Spellman Specialty Hospital and Nursing Center, an affiliate of Dimensions Healthcare System.
Free transportation to the Senior Health Center from many areas in Prince George's County is available upon request.

- Blood and Urine Testing
- Complete Physical Examination
- Diabetic and Hypertension Screening and Treatment
- EKG's, PAP Smears, and Rectal Examinations
- Early Dementia Screening
- Geriatric Assessment
- Limited Transportation to and from the Senior Health Center
- Podiatry Services
- Primary Medical Care
- Preventive Care
- Referrals
- TB, Pneumonia and Influenza (flu) vaccinations
- Walk-in Blood Pressure Checks
These services are designed to meet the needs of seniors in a comfortable and safe environment. Our staff involves patients and their families in the health care process with an emphasis on preventive and therapeutic treatment.
Hours of Operation
Monday and Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday - 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Wednesday - 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Directions
Rte. 202 (Landover Road) towards Bladensburg across Rte. 1 at Peace Cross (Rte. 202 changes to Blandensburg Rd. at this point). Make right turn onto Rte. 208 (38th Ave.), proceed across Rhode Island Ave. to Taylor Street. Make left onto Taylor Street and proceed to the Cora B. Wood Seniors Center.
