Prince George's Hospital Center to Host 6th Annual Reunion for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Graduates
WHEN:
Saturday, June 1, 2002: Noon - 2:00 p.m.
WHAT?
Prince George's Hospital Center will host a 6th annual celebration in honor of children who have graduated from PGHC's Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), the only Neonatal ICU in Southern Maryland. The celebration theme is ³It's a small world² and the celebration will consist of face painting, children's music and dance by the Kali Rani Natyasali troupe, a demonstration by The Aerials Gymnastics Team, a clown show, and photos with two special character guests (Elmo and Pikachu). The annual event is designed to bring together children and parents who were admitted to PGHC's Neonatal ICU, either for a premature delivery or for emergency neonatal care for an afternoon of fun and entertainment.
INTERVIEW/PHOTO OPTIONS:
The neonatologists and nurses that comprise Prince George's Hospital Center Neonatal ICU, as well as more than 150 attending adults and children who have graduated from this unit.
