Foundation Mission Statement
The Hospital Center Foundation was established in 1989 as an independent organization to raise money to support Prince George's Hospital Center. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors made up of members of the community, local businesses, and representatives from the medical staff, administration, the Hospital Centers Governing Board, and Dimensions Healthcare System executive staff. The Foundations business operations are managed by Foundation office staff support with the generous help of volunteers.
Ensuring Care to All of our Community
The Prince George's Hospital Center Foundation helps fund necessary renovations and purchase equipment vital to meet the healthcare needs of our community. Through special events such as our Gala dinner dance, our annual art auction, and through the generous contributions of former patients, local businesses, friends, employees, and grants such as the National Race for the Cure, we offer a total range of quality healthcare services to people of all ages and every social, economic, and ethnic background.
