Bowie Health Center:
Diagnostic Testing

Bowie Health Center is fully staffed and equipped to provide a full range of diagnostic testing procedures.
Close to 50,000 tests are conducted annually, including x-rays, EKGs, tissue analyses, throat cultures, urinalyses, and blood studies. Tests are also administered to help individuals monitor cholesterol levels and to identify the possible onset of diabetes.
All x-rays at the Center are performed by registered x-ray technologists who are certified by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by the State of Maryland's Board of Physician Quality Assurance. All laboratory tests are conducted by laboratory technologists and technicians who are certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
