Biography of the President
Patrick F. Mutch

Affiliated Enterprises, Inc.
Patrick F. Mutch has nearly two decades of experience in healthcare management. As the president of Laurel Regional Hospital in Laurel, Maryland since 1989, Mutch manages the 185-bed full service acute care hospital and oversees 725 employees. In addition, he is responsible for other healthcare services within Affiliated Enterprises, Inc., a subsidiary of Dimensions Healthcare System.
Prior to joining Laurel Regional Hospital, Mutch served as president and chief executive officer of The Children's Hospital and Center for Reconstructive Surgery, Inc, in Baltimore. He also has held hospital management positions at Pocono Hospital in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; HCA Medical Plaza Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas; and the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He earned a master's degree in public health/health administration from the University of Pittsburgh, where he also earned a bachelor's degree in economics.
Mr. Mutch serves on the boards of the Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber of Commerce, the Corridor Transportation Corporation, Pallotti High School, and the Maryland Hospital Association's Council on Financial Policy. He also is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
